Arriving by car
We recommend you note the following:
- During the Freimarkt period, no parking spaces are available around or on the Bürgerweide.
- During this time the police rigorously tow away any cars incorrectly parked (Cost for recovery: Min. Euro 245,--)
- The Bremen bus company provides a shuttle service from the Park&Ride location University. (see plan) - best approach: from Bremer Kreuz, direction Bremerhaven (A27), exit 19 Horn-Lehe/Universität, direction Universität/City, and then turn right into the Universitätsallee
- Otherwise you can use the public parking buildings in the city and other P&R services (see plan, right column). Bremen provides easy orientation due to its comprehensive park guide system.
Coming by bus
The Bremer Tourist Office provides a bus park concept for the Bremen city.
By train to the Freimarkt
The Bremer Freimarkt is located directly next to the train station and thus ideally suited to this means of transport.
For the Freimarkt time, the Deutsche Bahn is providing trains for late travellers.

Price per counted kilometer up to 10km: Euro 1,33 per km

'Womens' Night Taxi
A night taxi for women can be ordered (savings in fare of up to 35%) at the following taxi companies:

The night taxi for women can not be hailed on the street or at a taxi rank, but must be ordered by telephone ! Night taxis for women can be ordered for a specfic time at a specific place.
All seats can be taken in such a taxi. Passengers can share the price. Male children up to the age of 14 may use this facility.
The taxi clock starts at Euro 2,60 with 1,- Euro for each km.
